The Institute for Sustainable Communities is a non-profit organization that uses economic development and leadership training to help a community grow and overcome problems with disease, pollution and their economies.

While working with Tag New Media I took part in the redesign of their website and was tasked with the creation of two Flash components for the website. The first was an interactive map of that displayed static content. The second was a dynamic slideshow which used text and images pulled from an XML file to build each slide. This required all the data to be preloaded before it was displayed.
